CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE (HALO) - a ministry of Catholic Charities where the parish "adopts" needy families before Christmas. Parishioners have the opportunity to give gifts or financial offerings to one of several local families.

SHARE THE BOUNTY SALE - annual sale to help the needy in the area.

HISPANIC MINISTRY - building relationship, community and Church with the Hispanic people in the area. A team of varied cultures meets regularly to plan this newly developing ministry.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS- the Geneva/Madison Knights of Columbus (K of C) Council #5286 is a fraternal organization of Catholic men who are in solidarity with the priests and in support of the pope. The K of C conduct many fund raising events to support the many services they perform. They meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at the K of C Hall on North Ridge West (Route 20).

ASSUMPTION EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE - (NEW, in place of St. Vincent DePaul)
-our charitable organization seeking out those in the Geneva Area School District and transients in need of emergency assistants. AEA works with other charitable organizations in the area. Office hours are Monday and Tuesday, 9:00-11:00 and Saturday, 10:00-12:00.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES - a diocesan agency dedicated to helping those in need and partially funded through the Diocesan Appeal for Church and Charity. Services include: Emergency Assistance for clothing, medicine and utilities, Credit Counseling, Abstinence Education, Guardianship, Family and Individual Counseling, Adoption, Housing Services.

FOOD PANTRY - a function of Geneva Human Services to help families in the area in need of food. Donations of non-perishable foods, paper products and seasonal produce are accepted at the Food Pantry on West Main on any working day or leave in the side entrance of Assumption Church.

WELCOMING COMMITTEE - Newly formed ministry of people who welcome new parishioners. They make sure they have their welcome pack, show them around the church and school, and answer any questions. Possibly to be under new category of Hospitality.

GREETERS - are those who share the gift of hospitality. They welcome people to our celebrations, hand out programs after Masses when needed and help others feel comfortable by giving them directions to restrooms, telephones, etc. Anyone who is fully initiated into the Catholic church or is in the process of being initiated can apply. Future category under Welcoming Committee.
