CHILDRENS LITURGY OF THE WORD (Sept-May 11am Mass) - an activity during 11am Mass for children grades K-3. Children are dismissed during the Scripture readings and homily to hear the gospel reading interpreted in a way they can understand.

ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY SCHOOL - (PreSchool, Pre-K thru 6th Grade) Our mission; The faith community of Assumption School, in partnership with the church community and the parents of the students, seek to create a warm accepting atmosphere where children can grow physically, morally, academically, and spiritually. FIRST RECONCILIATION & FIRST EUCHARIST (1st Communion)
Children are typically prepared to receive these sacraments in Grade 2. Special circumstances can be accommodated as long as children have had one year of religious education. Assumption School students will be prepared during their religious education time. CCD students are prepped during their regular afternoon classes. First Reconciliation takes place early December and First Eucharist takes place the first Saturday of May.
